Yes, you can now take advantage of cellular data on your iPhone to backup contents from your phone onto your iCloud storage. This will not only give you two ways to get your stuff backed up but if you think the cellular network is faster than your WiFi connection, you may be able to back up your device in minimum time.
Note: It's important to note that you do not use this feature on a metered connection since there's a chance your data consumption may go over your preset limit, at which point, you may end up paying an added cost for the additional data that your iPhone consumed.

What do you need to use iCloud Backup over Mobile Data?
You can back up your iPhone onto iCloud over Mobile Data only if you meet the following requirements:
- You own a 5G-enabled iPhone – iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, or iPhone 12 Pro Max. Apple has confirmed on its official site that iCloud Backup through cellular data will only be "enhanced by faster 5G connectivity". If you own an older iPhone model, you won't be able to use the feature.
- Your iPhone is running iOS 15 – The ability to enable iCloud Backup over Mobile Data is a feature that comes via the iOS 15 update. You can head over to Settings > General > Software Update to update your device to iOS 15. Once updated, you can follow the guide below to enable backup over mobile data.
- (Optional) You have an unmetered cellular data connection – The size of iCloud Backups may vary depending on what you have to copy from your iPhone to the cloud. Using a metered connection for backing up may lead to additional costs you'd have to incur if your data usage goes beyond your network limit.

How to Enable iCloud Backup over Mobile Data on iPhone
If you're eligible to use the 'iCloud Backup over Mobile Data', then you using the feature is pretty easy. To enable the feature, open the Settings app on your iPhone running iOS 15 and tap on your name at the top of the screen.
This will open up the Apple ID screen on your device. Here, scroll down and select the 'iCloud' option on the screen.
Inside iCloud, tap on the 'iCloud Backup' option.
On the next screen, enable the 'Back Up Over Mobile Data' toggle.
